读万卷书不如行万里路。北京时间2019年7月9日，宿迁市苏州外国语学校的六名学生和一位带队老师于上海浦东国际机场起航,开展为期两周的交流学习。
It is better to travel ten thousand miles than to read ten thousand books. A group of six students and a teacher of Suqian Suzhou Foreign Language School (SSFLS) set off from Shanghai Pudong International Airport on July 9, 2019. They were about to fly to Canada for two weeks intercultural learning.
途经蒙特利尔，他们终于到了目的地——渥太华。并受到了住宿家庭热情的欢迎。尽管有些疲惫，同学们仍然保持着激情去面对未知的世界！
By way of Montreal, they finally reached the destination —Ottawa. All students received a warm welcome and returned home with their host families. Although they felt a bit tired, students still kept the passion to face the unknown world!
7月10日上午九点，学生们准时到达学校。这是开学的第一天，休学团的成员们受到了学校的热烈欢迎。学校体贴地为孩子们提供了一顿大餐—披萨大餐。
On July 10, students arrived at their new school at 9 a.m.. It was the first day to go to school, where students were warmly welcomed and provided with a big dinner—Pizza.
欢迎仪式之后，学校根据学生的年龄和英语能力进行了分班。老师们强调了在加拿大学习的注意事项。除了每天早上三个小时的英语课外，学生们还会走出校园，探索体验加拿大本土文化。
Students were divided into groups by their age and English ability after welcome ceremony. Then teachers emphasized certain precautions during their studies in Canada. They had English lessons for 3 hours every morning. Apart from having to complete the English lessons, students got to spend time outside of campus exploring, experiencing and immersing in Canadian culture.
孩子们每天早上九点到十二点上三个小时的英语课。在课堂中,老师们经过运用生动的图片及风趣的活动在英语学习中植入了很多乐趣和生机。
They had English classes for 3 hours from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. every day. Teachers instilled a lot of fun and excitement into the learning of English through the use of lively pictures and fun activities.
“用智慧和体验丰厚生命质量，以创新和梦想点亮未来。”宿苏外的学子们积极参加学校各项活动，提高自己的语言能力和跨文化交流能力。他们体验当地的文化风俗，在丰富的学习和生活中开拓国际视野，增长见识。
“Enriching life with wisdom and experience, and enlightening future with creativity and dream.” Students participated in different activities actively and improved the abilities of language and intercultural communication. They experienced the local traditions and culture during the program. By means of various exchange study and activities, they developed a global view as well as broadened their horizon.
